Thought of the day:
I realize we have so much unnecessary things to fear of including with different races. I want to say whether you learn Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, you will never becoming Malay, Chinese, Indian...when you a Malay wearing Chinese clothing or a Chinese wearing Indian clothing..you are still the same
still as the same as you are when you learn Japanese, Korean language..please be fair..even when you revert to Islam and other religions..
In Islam who ever you are, you are just the same..you will not be a Malay or Pakistani after you embrace Islam..you still Chinese, Indian, British, Somali etc..the thing which change is our believe, we believe there is just one God,One God whom not as the same as creature in term of physical,spiritual,etc, the Most Powerful,the Only one to be worship. The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last messenger. We try to follow and practice Islam everyday as it is a way of life, not just when we get married, we give birth (have newborn), we died..no,it is far beyond that. We are advise not to follow Muslims as Muslims also have their own flaws and errors, we follow what is said in the Quran and hadith (from prophet Muhammad, the messenger of Allah,peace be upon Him).
We still use the same name as the name has good meaning.
We still wear our traditional cloth but modify it to be modest and moderate.
We still eat our authentic food but upgrade it to eat halal food, healthier and clean.
We still must to respect our parents in term of taking care of them, talk politely,help them.
We still as funny as before, as the same as before when we mingle with our siblings and friends. The difference is when there is a call of prayer we just need a break for 5 minutes to pray. However we do not partying, drinking and clubbing anymore.
We still go to gym and do other sports. We still learn taekwondo, karate, judo, silambam as before.
We still must treat all our neighbor no matter white or black, no matter what religion or races or no matter from what lineage or jobs or rich or poor, normal or with special disabilities. We treat people equally, no backbiting, harshness, arrogance, selfish,oppressive, making up rumours, cheating, belittle or taking advantage on people's weaknesses.
We still must contribute to the society and nation in where we live, give our best, follow and respect the laws and preserve to live with hard working,fulfill our promise,harmony, tolerance, cooperation,trust and sincere.
We are still the same, just we want to be a better person
